Position Title Chief Financial Officer
Compensation $52,000 to $80,000, with bonus opportunity.

Location Albuquerque, New Mexico
Company Background The company is an innovative management company in the growing health care and medical management industry. The company is allied with one of the country’s preeminent insurance firms.

Assignment Focus Assume overall responsibility for development and utilization of timely, accurate financial information, e.g. daily/weekly reports, medical utilization analysis and profitability analysis. Prepare all financial reports and work with accounting staff to analyze variances from plan, provide meaningful overviews, react quickly to deviation, and anticipate problems and trends.

Provide leadership, supervision to existing accounting and portfolio monitoring departments; identify and install effective methods to link data from the accounting and utilization systems. Establish policies and procedures to help maximize cash management and improve bottom line profitability.

Act as financial liaison with company’s clients. Manage the company’s banking/financing and audit relationships.

Candidate Skills Experienced CFO/Controller with company whose revenues are in excess of $5 million. Health Care industry experience. Requires strong cash management, and experience in managerial issues related to health care industries. CPA preferred.

Must be highly involved “roll-up-the sleeves” team player, with excellent leadership and communication skills who is proactive in identifying and solving problems. High energy level and ability to work occasional strenuous hours.

Must have good business judgment, presence, be decisive, and have strong entrepreneurial ability.

A pro-active manager who has demonstrated success in developing and motivating a staff of at least 10 people.

Must have knowledge of systems and internal controls, internal reporting, budgeting and cash management.

Knowledge of Great Plains software helpful.
